Labor Solutions’ commitment to safety is unmatched in our industry – our staff includes full-time safety managers and consultants, certified forklift trainers, and OSHA-authorized outreach trainers.
We communicate and cooperate with our clients to prevent injuries, reducing the pain and suffering associated with injuries and slashing the costs of work-related injuries. We even perform facility walk-throughs to ensure our people are working in safe environments, all in an effort to keep costs low for our clients.
And before our employees ever start on a job, they are required to complete our extensive safety orientation and training program, which offers:
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training – employees are required to sign off on GMP sheets for each of our clients
- Visual demonstrations – authorized safety trainers demonstrate:
- Proper lifting techniques
- Proper utility knife techniques
- General industry and staffing safety – a video series that includes:
- Forklift traffic and safety training
- Lockout/tagout awareness
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Slips, trips and falls
- Hazardous communications
- Accident and injury reporting procedures – all employees will learn how to handle accidents, injuries and near-misses
- Forklift certification (if necessary) – our certified forklift trainers are equipped and required to certify all Labor Solutions employees at the worksite through written tests, discussions and driving demonstrations
Only when all training is complete and employees demonstrate knowledge of safety measures will they receive the required Safety Certification that allows them to begin work for our clients.
